OCEANIA CRUISES LAUNCHES ONLINE RESERVATIONS FOR SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS

MIAMI, November 4, 2009 – Oceania Cruises is introducing a new online portal that will let booked guests make advance reservations for specialty restaurants from the comfort of their home.

Oceania Cruises’ three 684-guest vessels – Regatta, Insignia and Nautica – offer a choice of four different dining venues, all of which come under the watchful eye of renowned master chef, Jacques Pépin, who serves as executive culinary director for the cruise line. Guests can choose from The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Toscana and Tapas on the Terrace.

The new online “Dining Reservations Calendar” conveniently includes the times the ship is in port, as well as any pre-reserved shore excursions to assist guests in selecting the ideal dining times. Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of sailing, once final payment has been received, and will remain available until 10 days prior to departure.

“Offering the ability to pre-book specialty restaurant reservations before embarkation is just one more we have elevated our acclaimed dining experience,” stated Bob Binder, Oceania Cruises’ president. “At home they are accustomed to making advance reservations for top restaurants. On board our ships the dining experience is every bit equal in both quality and service, now it is also equally convenient.”

Guests may now access the Dining Reservations Calendar beginning with the 2009-2010 Winter Collection voyages of Regatta, Insignia and Nautica to Asia and Australia, South America and the Caribbean. To access the calendar, guests must register in the “Already Booked” section of OceaniaCruises.com.

By year-end, travel agents will also have the ability to make dinner reservations on behalf of their clients via the travel agent center on Oceania Cruises’ Web site.

Oceania Cruises’ brand new, 1,258-guest Marina, scheduled to launch in winter 2010, will offer 10 different dining venues, six of which will be gourmet restaurants included on the Dining Reservations Calendar.

OCEANIA CRUISES REPORTS RECORD BOOKING ACTIVITY IN AUGUST - Pricing Returns to 2007 and 2008 Levels

MIAMI, FL - September 2, 2009 – Oceania Cruises announced that several new company booking records were achieved during the month of August including phone volume, new reservations and pricing performance.

The month of August set new booking records for the company while the one week period of August 23rd through the 29th marked the busiest week on record and August 31st registered as the biggest single booking day in the company’s history. The company credits the record booking activity to the culmination of promotional offers on its popular 2010 European Collection voyages which expired at month-end.

“The tremendous demand we are witnessing for the Oceania Cruises experience is extremely gratifying and speaks to the strength of our brand and value proposition,” stated Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises.

32 of the line’s 2010 voyages are already sold out and overall pricing has strengthened back to the record setting 2007 and 2008 pre-recession levels which prompted the line to raise prices on over 40% of its 2010 departures effective September 1st. Another price increase is slated effective January 1, 2010.

“The demand and pricing strength Oceania Cruises is experiencing showcases the resilience of the cruise industry in the wake of a challenging economy and demonstrates once again how important vacations are to consumers. What we are seeing is an industry-wide trend that Oceania’s sister brand Regent Seven Seas Cruises is also enjoying stated Frank Del Rio, Chairman and CEO of Prestige Cruise Holdings, parent company of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Travel Agent partners are also reporting record booking levels as consumer confidence strengthens. “Oceania Cruises, along with all of our cruise industry partners, have done a phenomenal job of marketing the value of cruise travel and driving consumers into the offices of agents,” stated Brad Anderson, Co-President of San Diego-based Anderson Travel and Miami-based America’s Vacation Center.

Oceania Cruises is expecting the remainder of the 2010 European Collection to continue selling at a brisk pace and has moved-up the introduction of its 2010-2011 Winter Collection voyages to September 15th in order to provide agent partners with additional itineraries and sales opportunities. The line’s hotly anticipated 1,258 guest Marina, the first ship designed specifically for the Upper Premium market, is expected to go on sale during the 1st quarter of 2010.

WORLD RENOWNED MASTER CHEF JACQUES PÉPIN TO OPEN FRENCH BISTRO ONBOARD OCEANIA CRUISES' NEW MARINA

Jul 22, 2009

WORLD RENOWNED MASTER CHEF JACQUES PÉPIN TO OPEN FRENCH BISTRO ONBOARD OCEANIA CRUISES' NEW MARINA

NEW YORK, July 22 2009 – World-renowned Master Chef Jacques Pépin will open Jacques – his first ever restaurant at sea – onboard Oceania Cruises’ new 1,258-guest Marina, scheduled to launch in late 2010.

Pépin’s namesake restaurant will draw inspiration from bistros in his home town of Lyon and the fabled bistros of Paris. “The cornerstone of any great dining experience is freshly prepared, simple dishes that are as visually pleasing on the plate as they are on the palate,” according to Pépin.

Guests entering the restaurant will be greeted by the aroma of freshly roasted chicken, duck and lamb wafting from the grand rotisserie. Custom Jacques Pépin signature china, antique flatware and Lalique glassware adorn the tables while chandeliers fashioned from crystal decanters add a whimsical shimmer to the room. An art collection comprised of some of Pépin’s favorite personal pieces and original works Pépin created especially for Marina, grace the room and adds a warm, personal touch.

“As we designed the culinary experience aboard Marina, a restaurant by Jacques Pépin was at the top of our guests’ wish lists,” stated Bob Binder, Oceania Cruises’ president. “Jacques will present a traditional French dining experience in a casually elegant fashion.”

Jacques Pépin is the host of award-winning cooking shows, author of more than 20 cookbooks and has served as personal chef to numerous heads of state. As the Executive Culinary Director for Oceania Cruises, Pepin has brought his legendary cuisine and unique artistry to the gourmet restaurants onboard Marina’s sister ships Regatta, Insignia and Nautica.

“Jacques Pépin has been a member of our team since the line’s inception and we are honored that he is debuting his signature restaurant aboard our magnificent new Marina,” added Binder.

A Dining Experience to Be Savored

Dining in Jacques will be reminiscent of dining in a favorite bistro that is run by a long-time friend. The service, while professional and polished, is friendly and endearing and in the tradition of fine French dining, a leisurely pace is de rigueur, thus ensuring a relaxing dining experience.

Upon arrival at the table, guests are greeted with a bread basket of “Les Trois Baguettes” with three different freshly baked French baguettes along with Country Petit Pâté with gherkins and traditional Rillettes of salmon and foie de volaille.

Highlights of the menu include an appetizer of homemade Pumpkin Soup á l’Anglaise served in a pumpkin shell, fresh Mussels Marinière, freshly roasted free range chicken, duck, lamb and other specialty cuts of fine meat.

In addition, the chef’s “specialités de la maison” are presented each day, having been hand-selected from local markets in the ports that Marina visits.

To cap off the evening, a choice of nine classic French desserts and a cheese tray with 12 AOC French cheeses that locally procured in the regions they are produced serve as a fitting finale to an unforgettable dining experience.

A Ship for Food Lovers

Oceania Cruises’ new Marina has been purposefully designed for epicureans with 10 dining venues, including six open-seating, gourmet restaurants. Public spaces awash in rich woods, marble and granite, fine wool carpets and lustrous leather retain the intimacy and signature design elements of the line’s three sister ships while affording an increased level of space, comfort, convenience and luxury amenities. Featuring a total of 10 dining venues, Marina guests may choose to dine in any of six distinctly different gourmet restaurants, including Jacques and Red Ginger, all at no additional charge. Guest accommodations are comprised of 629 staterooms and suites, 96 percent of which have private verandas. Facilities include an array of elegant bars and lounges, a CanyonRanch SpaClub®, state-of-the-art fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs.

Additional information about Jacques – including sample menus – will be uploaded to Oceania Cruises’ website in the coming months. Reservations for Marina are scheduled to open in late 2009. ‘RED GINGER’ TO OFFER ASIAN-FUSION FARE
ABOARD OCEANIA CRUISES’ NEW FLAGSHIP MARINA

MIAMI, June 18, 2009 — Guests on Oceania Cruises’ new Marina – scheduled to debut in winter 2010 – can enjoy a five-course menu de gustacion (tasting menu) at Red Ginger, a Pan-Asian specialty restaurant featuring Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. There is no supplement or surcharge and a full a la carte menu is offered as well.

Red Ginger will offer both traditional and fusion dishes amid comfortable, visually stunning surroundings, with seating for 126. The stylish, contemporary décor is a study in feng shui,, with ebony woods, bronze and glass light fixtures and eclectic, modern Asian artwork. Three Buddha heads, carved from a single piece of glass and lit with multiple colors from within, comprise the venue’s dramatic centerpiece.

“The menu at Red Ginger offers a mélange of Far Eastern flavors,” stated Franco Semeraro, senior vice president of Hotel Operations for Oceania Cruises. “Marina guests will enjoy both fresh interpretations of Asian classics, as well as superb new creations.”

An Epicurean Odyssey

“Menu de gustacion” is French dining parlance for a meal that lets guests taste a sampling of dishes. The leisurely five-course feast at Red Ginger will include soup, salad, appetizer, choice of main courses accompanied by a selection of side dishes, followed by dessert.

“Guests aboard Marina are in for a real culinary treat at Red Ginger,” stated Bob Binder, president of Oceania Cruises. “Instead of just enjoying a delicious dinner, the five-course menu is designed to take them on an Asian culinary adventure.”

A typical menu might begin with spicy Thai lemongrass-flavored coconut soup with prawns, followed by a salad of duck and watermelon with cashews, mint and Thai basil.

The starter course may showcase selections from the daily sushi platter or tuna tartar with black and white sesame seeds and wasabi cream.

Entrée choices satisfy a range of palates and include roasted Chilean Sea Bass marinated in plum-miso sauce, cooked in a Hoba leaf, or Asian-spiced Rack of Lamb with kohl robi, cream spinach and truffle oil. Sole Tempura, Braised Beef with Malay Curry, and Lobster Pad Thai are also main courses. Side dishes include stir-fried Asian greens with oyster sauce, baby Bok Choy and shitake mushrooms, fried rice with prawns and steamed Jasmine rice.

For dessert, guests can savor an East-West synthesis such as chocolate-lemongrass or litchi-raspberry crème brulée, green tea banana cake with toffee-hazelnut sauce, steamed ginger cake with apple-cardamom ice cream, or an exotic fresh fruit plate.

The Red Ginger wine list features both European and New World vintages carefully chosen to subtly enhance the exotic Asian flavors, along with a wide selection of sake. Beers from Thailand and Japan, and a full cocktail menu are also available. The restaurant’s signature libation – Ginger Blossom – is sure to pack a spirited punch, blending Charbay blood orange vodka, passion fruit and orange juices and Grenadine, served shaken and poured over ice.

CULINARY STUDIO AT SEA ABOARD NEW MARINA
Bon Appétit Magazine to Provide Chefs for Pioneering Program

NEW YORK, June 18, 2009 — When she debuts in winter 2010, Oceania Cruises’ new 1,258-guest Marina will offer a state-of-the-art culinary studio with fully equipped individual work stations, each with induction cook tops, a first at sea, affording guests the opportunity to gain a hands-on learning experience.

The new ship’s multi-million-dollar, ground-breaking culinary center was announced today in New York by Bob Binder, president of Oceania Cruises, and Risa Aronson, associate publisher, Bon Appétit magazine.

“Many ships offer cooking demonstrations. Our goal when designing Marina was to be the first to let guests actually experience cooking side-by side with a master chef as opposed to passively watching from the audience,” stated Binder. “We are proud to have Bon Appétit serve as our culinary partner on this pioneering project.”

Oceania Cruises’ curriculum, designed in part by Bon Appétit, will appeal to a wide range of tastes and incorporate regional cultures and cuisines. Depending on the itinerary, classes may range from 45 minutes to three hours, and cater to all levels of aptitude, from beginner to master-chef level. The culinary experience will also be brought ashore with market tours where guests will shop for local ingredients with the chef. Additionally, guest chefs may arrange for students to have private tastings at wineries and access to famous shore-side kitchens.

“Oceania Cruises is taking shipboard cooking classes to a new level aboard Marina,” said Aronson. “Bon Appétit welcomes the interactive component of this curriculum and is delighted to share our expertise and access to master chefs and rising stars.”

Guest accommodations are comprised of 629 staterooms and suites, 96 percent of which have private verandas. Facilities include an array of elegant bars and lounges, a full-service spa, spacious fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs.

Additional information about the Marina’s culinary center, including participating chefs, will be released in the coming months. Reservations for Marina are scheduled to open during the fourth quarter of 2009. OCEANIA CRUISES AND FINCANTIERI COMMENCE CONSTRUCTION OF MARINA

Mar 07, 2009

OCEANIA CRUISES AND FINCANTIERI COMMENCE CONSTRUCTION OF MARINA

MIAMI, FL – March 7, 2009 - A ceremony marking the Keel Laying for Oceania Cruises’ Marina was held yesterday at the Sestri Ponente shipyard of Fincantieri near Genoa, Italy. During the age-old ceremony which was attended by members of both Oceania Cruises’ and Fincantieri’s management teams, Frank Del Rio, Chairman and CEO of Prestige Cruise Holdings and founder of Oceania Cruises, welded a US Silver Dollar and a pre-Castro Silver Cuban Peso into the keel of the new ship. The welding of the coins into the keel is long-standing maritime tradition which is believed to solicit good fortune for the ship, its crew and its passengers during its seagoing life. After the coins were welded into the keel, the first of the 55 steel blocks which comprise Marina was lowered into the building dock thus marking the official start of the construction of Oceania Cruises’ first purpose-built ship.

“This is a momentous day in the history of Oceania Cruises, one which will only be eclipsed on the day we take delivery of Marina in 2010. We want to express our sincere thanks to our loyal guests, travel partners and the entire Oceania Cruises team for all their dedication and hard work in making this new ship become a reality,” stated Frank Del Rio, Chairman and CEO of Prestige Cruise Holdings.

Marina, the first of the new Oceania-Class, represents an evolution of the line’s extremely popular Regatta-Class ships, retaining all of the warmth, popular design elements and signature amenities the line is renowned for while affording guests an additional level of comfort, convenience and many new luxury amenities. Designed to cruise to all corners of the globe, the new ships will boast a cruising speed 20% faster than the Regatta-Class.

The new ships will be awash in rich woods, Italian marble, lustrous granite, fine wool carpets and sumptuous leather. No detail is being overlooked to create an array of spacious, yet intimate public spaces and luxurious staterooms and suites. They will accommodate 1,252 guests in 626 staterooms and suites who will be served by more than 780 staff members. 96% of all accommodations will feature private teak verandas and guests will dine in their choice of six open seating restaurants.

Additional details on the Marina’s suites and staterooms, restaurants, guest facilities and itineraries will be released in the coming months.
