Meet members of the Oceania Cruises' Executive Team.


Frank Del Rio, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer - Prestige Cruise Holdings, Inc.

Frank Del Rio, the founder of Oceania Cruises, is Chairman & CEO of Prestige Cruise Holdings, the parent corporation of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Based in Miami, Florida, he is responsible for the financial and strategic development of Oceania Cruises and its sister brand, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Prior to founding Oceania Cruises, Frank Del Rio played a vital role in the development of Renaissance Cruises, serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Co-Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to April, 2001. During his tenure, company’s revenue grew from $24 million in 1992 to $610 million in 2000 and became the fifth largest cruise line in the world. Between 2003 and 2007, Del Rio was instrumental in the development and growth of Oceania Cruises and during this four year period, the line grew from a start-up with $14 million in capital to being valued at greater than $850 million. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Bob Binder, President

Bob Binder is the President of Oceania Cruises. He oversees all day to day operations of the line which include sales, marketing, finance, vessel operations and branding efforts. A graduate of Cornell University, Bob Binder possesses MBA’s in both Finance and Marketing and has a wide range of experience in Marketing, Finance and Travel. Prior to joining Oceania Cruises, he was the President of Meadowoods Consulting which provided consulting services to the Financial and Travel services industries. He has also held senior management positions at JP Morgan Chase where he was a Strategic Planning Officer, and was Vice President of Sales for one of the most dynamic and fastest growing cruise lines in the industry.







 

Robin Lindsay, Executive Vice President of Vessel Operations

Robin Lindsay is the Executive Vice president of Vessel Operations and oversees all Marine, Technical and Hotel operations for Oceania Cruises’ fleet. Lindsay was instrumental in the extensive refurbishment and launch of Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica and the development of the new 1,256-guest Oceania-Class newbuilds. Lindsay possesses a vast amount of experience in the luxury cruise arena and has overseen the design and construction of many of the industry’s most acclaimed luxury cruise ships. Prior to joining Oceania Cruises in 2003, he was the Senior Vice President of Vessel Operations at Silversea Cruises and prior to that, Vice President of Operations at Radisson Seven Seas Cruises. During his tenure at these 5 Star lines he was instrumental in the creation and direction of their on-board product and hotel operations.

 

Kunal Kamlani, Chief Financial Officer

Kunal Kamlani was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2009. Kamlani joined PCH from Smith Barney where he served as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the finance, risk management and technology strategy organizations. Kamlani possesses an extensive knowledge of the global capital markets and has a strong background in corporate development having served as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide where he led the company through a robust global expansion. As Chief Financial Officer of PCH, Kunal oversees all day-to-day financial activities related to Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises along with corporate development and mid- and long-term financial strategies. Oceania Cruises is currently constructing two new 1,258 guest ships valued at more than $1 billion.
